The Indie Advanced Package is for the author who wants a robust, custom-designed book marketing program that includes proven book marketing strategies necessary to reach your goals. We handle all the essential tasks to ensure your book is properly set up and effectively targets the right audience. We focus on validating the writing through reviews, and awards, and use promotions to drive readers to your book. This is a full-service package where your satisfaction is guaranteed!

PREPARATION
Understanding your existing marketing plan and goals will allow us to create a timeline to implement each strategy at the right time and with the right purpose.
PRELAUNCH STRATEGY
If your book is not published, we will help you plan and implement an effective book launch strategy to build awareness for the book before the publishing date and after. This includes helping you to create a 'street team' designed to assist you in this process.
OPTIMIZE METADATA
To ensure that your book title, description, keywords, and categories are optimized for search engines, online retailers, and bookstores we will evaluate and recommend any changes that can help your book show more often leading to higher sales.
AUTHOR PLATFORM SET UP
The foundation of any marketing program comes from the author platform. Using your existing website and social platforms, we will help you build an online presence with book retailers and readers.
WEBSITES
If you have a website, we will make sure it has all of the components needed to stand out in this highly competitive book market. We will evaluate your website and make recommendations for improvements. This will include SEO, connectivity with your other platforms, visibility, blogging, branding, and any technical improvements. If you need an author website, we can build one for you. *
BOOK REVIEWS & AWARDS
We will submit your book to our extensive and expanding list of editorial, trade, and blog reviewers. These reviews will be posted on Goodreads, bloggers' websites, social platforms, and, in some cases, Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. If your book is at least six months from publication, we can also submit it to select newspapers and magazines. Simultaneously, we will collaborate with you to create a robust customer review strategy for online reseller websites.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Although using social media is unnecessary, we will show you how to build a following and create awareness for your book and message using 2 selected platforms. We will also get you started on Goodreads and YouTube while providing promotional posts on our social accounts. Advanced social media strategies are available. *
CREATE A BUZZ
Promoting your book to the right audience is crucial, and we are committed to implementing strategies that align with your goals. We will collaborate with you on all of the available promotional strategies, some of which include eBook promotional companies, book clubs, author interviews, podcast interviews, book giveaways, blog tours, and more. While some promotional opportunities are complimentary, others may require a fee. Creating content (videos, audio, and written content) to support your book and message is an important part of getting the word out about your book and message.
ADVERTISING
Advertising is a powerful tool to boost awareness of your book, and we will work with you to determine the optimal timing and benefits of advertising on platforms such as Amazon Ads and Bookbub. We can set up two competing ads on Amazon, monitor the account during our collaboration, and teach you how to sustain this strategy independently. Additionally, we offer discounted advertising rates with Ingram Book Company for print, digital, and other ads targeted at book buyers, librarians, and resellers.
ADVANCED MARKETING
While most authors initiate just a few strategies, we will collaborate on more advanced strategies that will help you stand out. These strategies are the ones that you will be responsible for working over the next couple of years and include using local media attention, book fairs, festivals, author events, direct mail, video creation, blogging, cause marketing, and author collaboration.
COMMUNICATIONS
We will collaborate with you on a weekly phone call allowing us to check in on the tasks we are both working on. This is the time to update each other on the project and have time for strategy sessions, Q&A, training, and anything else about the book industry.

The Indie Complete Package Includes all the strategies from the 'Indie Advanced Package' with a focus on covering more ground with each strategy, and advanced support for the following strategies.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
More extensive work within 2 social media platforms, providing sample posts for each platform plus a focus on how to increase and engage followers. We will design 1 banner for each platform including one for YouTube.
READER REVIEWS
We will submit your book to our growing list of book clubs and reader groups who will purchase your book from Amazon and write an honest review there and also on B&N and Goodreads to magnify the reach. This service is only available on the Complete Package and as an individual service.
BOOK PUBLICITY
We will contact selected local media in your area to present you and your book. This can include newspapers, radio stations, and television networks.
PODCAST INTERVIEWS
We will focus on presenting you to our active list of industry podcasters to secure an interview opportunity and then promote the episode on our social media platforms to help you make the most of each opportunity. We can also collaborate on starting a podcast of your own.
